It’s about knowing the hours of work behind a bottle in terracotta,

about re-discovering chemistry lessons when you thought you would never ever have some use of it,

or about coming into the mind of a person that has to decide if she’s going to burn that vessel up to 1200 C or more.

It’s also about missing clay when you can’t work at it,

about the sparkle in your eye when you see a beautiful object,

and a guide through Berlin’s pottery labs and shops.

It’s about a discovery, about travelling, and about me.

  1. Hello and thank you for liking my blog! I also love clay and used to dabble (or maybe just babble) in pottery – I am going to enjoy following your posts 🙂

  2. Welcome here and thank you for following!

  3. Hello there kopparrox! I wanted to let you know that I have nominated you for the Awesome Blog Content Award – congratulations! I really enjoy your writing and your special viewpoint on interesting places. You share some quietly surprising discoveries. Thank you! best wishes, Philippa

    • Thank you so much for your support!!
This city is surprising, I only have to find more time for myself to travel around…and to write about it!
      Thanks again!

      • Hello again kopparrox – I forgot to list your new responsibilities, now that you have won the award! You need to write down 26 things about yourself starting with the letters of the alphabet (ABC award). I did what John Clinock did and just used the first letters of my blogname, 13 instead of 26! And then, you need to nominate 6 bloggers who have awesome content. And I realise you are looking for more time for yourself. Hope you can manage it. best wishes, Philippa

  4. That sounds like a good idea! Shortly my list of blogs and the ABC list!
